End of the workshop tour to dream up Gaspésie

From March to June 2025, Collectivités ZéN Gaspésie reached out to nearly 750 people and led over 80 workshops exploring the future in all the MRCs of the Gaspé Peninsula.

We met in schools, CEGEPs, community organizations, municipalities and workplaces, as well as at public events organized with local partners.

Ranging in age from 8 to 95, these people took part in these activities to dream together about the future of Gaspésie and share their vision. The workshops presented were adapted to reach all communities on the territory, including the English-speaking population, members of Mi’gmaq communities, and the French-speaking population.

Summer 2025: Analysis of your aspirations to guide the next stage of the project

Over the course of the summer, our team will collate the strong trends, concerns, suggestions and dreams that emerged from the workshops, in order to create a collective vision for the Gaspé Peninsula.

This vision will lead to transformative trajectories designed with partners. We will then develop a roadmap that will guide the actions we need to take to ensure that we can live in the Gaspésie of our dreams.

For the summer period, Collectivités ZéN Gaspésie is taking a break from public communications on the project. For the rest, stay tuned to our website and social networks, and we’ll be back in the fall.

This fall, we’ll be presenting to you with the fruits of our analysis, as well as a portrait of what you’ve shared with us. We’ll also be organizing events to present the collective vision you’ve helped create: that of a stronger, fairer and more resilient Gaspésie.
